1. What Truek is

Truek (truek.xyz) is a platform where members exchange services using time credits. One hour of any service equals one credit. Truek only provides the tool that connects members; it is not a party to any exchange and is not responsible for the quality, safety or outcome of services exchanged between members.

2. Who can join

• You must be at least 18 years old.
• You must give truthful information and keep one personal account.

3. Credits

• New members receive 3 welcome credits.
• Balances can range from −5 to 40 credits and are counted in 15-minute steps.
• Credits have no monetary value. They cannot be bought, sold, exchanged for money or transferred outside an exchange.
• Credits move only when both parties confirm the actual hours.
• Truek may correct balances in case of errors, fraud or abuse.

4. Allowed and forbidden services

Services that legally require a licence, authorisation or certification are not allowed, for example healthcare, electrical installation work, gas work or legal representation. Also forbidden: anything illegal, sexual services, weapons, medicines, and asking for or offering money.

5. Behaviour

Treat other members with respect. Harassment, discrimination, spam and fraud lead to the removal of content and the suspension of accounts. You can report and block other users at any time.

6. Taxes

Each member is responsible for their own tax obligations. Read our taxes FAQ.

7. Liability

Members exchange services at their own risk. Truek is not liable for damages arising from exchanges, to the extent permitted by Finnish law.

8. Ending your account

You can ask us to delete your account at any time by writing to hello@truek.xyz. Unused credits are lost when an account is closed.

9. Changes and law

We may update these terms and will notify members of material changes. These terms are governed by Finnish law.
